Burj Khalifa – The Tallest Building in the world!

The Burj Khalifa, world’s tallest building was opened in the year 2010.  This Skyscraper in Dubai is 829.8 meters in Height.

The Structure of Burj Khalifa was inspired by a flower “Spider Lily” which is mostly found in its regional deserts.

At the Lobby of Burj Khalifa, a water sculpture is created, named as “World Voices” It is made of 196 gold-plated handmade cymbals, representing 196 countries in the World. The water gently drops down on each cymbal it makes a unique sound which can be heard in all pavilion. It also has the world’s tallest art gallery.

You can also experience breathtaking 340-degree views of Dubai from the observation deck at the World’s tallest building. Burj Khalifa SKY is on the 148th floor of Burj Khalifa where you can visit with buying tickets. There is a lounge too on 152 to 154 level which allows you to leisure with fascinating views.

The Dubai Mall

The perfect place for a Shopaholic! Just next to Burj Khalifa you may find “The Dubai Mall” There are more than 1200 stores and nearby 150 restaurants present in the Mall. You may also find an indoor theme park, an ice rink, A huge indoor waterfall.

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo– Meanwhile, you are busy watching the Glamorous Huge mall, You don’t wanna miss underwater aquarium & zoo built in the mall itself.

Hysteria –  if you think you’re brave enough? Then Hysteria is for you. Its an extreme Haunted attraction for the visitors which will take you through the darkest fears of them.

KidZania – Best for your kids. Here your kids can experience knowledge through role-plays and activities etc.

VR Park – VR Park in Dubai Mall gives you the Immersive Virtual Reality experience which can turn your world upside down.

Dubai Ice Rink: The Dubai Mall Ice Rink is a place where people can ice skate or play winter sports. You can actually take a beginner’s class, and enjoy the fun with your family and loved ones.

Downtown Eats Open-Air Cinema – If you are lucky & weather conditions are suitable, you can actually watch an open-air cinema “COMPLIMENTARY” at Downtown Eats. It is just located outside the Dubai Mall. ( Timings )

Dubai Fountain

The Dubai Fountain Has become the world’s Largest Choreographed Fountain system. This fountain is built on 30 acres of a man-made lake named Burj Lake, by the same company who built the famous fountain in Bellagio. The water streams can rise to 150 meters high in the air on musically dancing beats of the music choreographed to it.

More than 6,600 lights and 25 color projectors have been installed. The beam of light from the fountain can be seen from over 20 miles away

Palm Jumeirah

You must be familiar with the world’s largest man-made island which can be seen through space?

Palm Jumeirah island is in the shape of a palm tree, that’s the reason It was named Palm. There is also a monorail named “Palm Jumeirah Monorail”, which connects the Famous Atlantis hotel to the Gateway Towers which is the entrance of the Island. This Route is more than 5 km long and is to be said as the first monorail in the middle east region.

Palm Jebel Ali & Palm Deira,  are also two islands in the Palm Islands, together they make around 520 km shoreline of Dubai.

Palm Jumeirah’s Frond is the place where all luxury villas are built. Many of Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities like David Beckham, Michael Schumacher, Brajolina, George Clooney & Shah Rukh Khan own property on Palm Islands.

 Dubai Creek

Dubai Creek which is located in Dubai, UAE is a saltwater creek. Don’t miss to visit this place as the earlier Dubai was started to develop from the banks of the creek. This creek is enjoyed with a ferry ride ‘Abra’ small wooden boats which were used in the olden days.

This ride gives you a chilled feeling in the hot and humid climate of Dubai. This route passed through the famous Ras al Khor Sanctuary which is famous for bird watching. You may also visit the Dubai Museum or Al Fahidi Fort near the Hindu Temple in Bur Dubai where you can visit Dubai’s heritage attractions located near the creek.

Dubai Frame

The Dubai frame is made of steel, aluminum glass and RCC (reinforced cement concrete). Its height is about 150 meters (492 feet) and around 93 meters (305 feet) wide. On the top floor, you can also see the 360-degree aerial views and ground through the glass floors and windows. 

The idea of the frame was to show one side of Modern Dubai like Emirates Tower, Burj Khalifa etc and other sides of Ancient Dubai like Deira, Umm Harare, and Karama.

The Dubai Frame is built on Zabeel Park, which is one of the excellent examples of architecture in Dubai. Dubai Frame has become the World’s Biggest Picture Frame also named “The Guardian”.It was Inaugurated for the visitors in January 2018 and has grabbed a huge crowd of visitors within no time.  A highly recommended place for your selfies and has an entry fee to visit.

 Bluewaters Dubai

Bluewaters Island is another scenic island destination in Dubai where you find the “Ain Dubai” which is the World’s Highest Observation wheel. Its height is around 250 meters (820 Feet) which is taller than the “London Eye” in London around 135 meters (443 Feet). It is estimated to be opened in  October 2020 but you can also enjoy other parts of the island.

 Hatta – The Historic Mountain Village

Hatta is a historic mountain village which is located 130kms away from the main downtown Dubai. You can enjoy some of the water activities on the hatta lake or if you love trekking and adventures, you must definitely visit the Traversing rocky mountains.

There are also many other activities like mountain biking, free-fall jumps zorbing etc available at Hatta Wadi Hub. Also if you love water sports you can try out the Hatta Drop-In water park which is Asia’s First water Jump park. You can also find a huge sign zone “HATTA” at mountain top same like “HOLLYWOOD”.

If your budget allows you to try to stay in hatta at least one day as you can enjoy the adventures style of stays in Hatta Caravan Park, Sedr Trailers Resort and Damani Lodges Resort.

Note: These stays are closed during summers due to climatic conditions, so plan accordingly your trip.

Dubai Parks and Resort

Dubai Parks and Resort is a huge entertainment park which has mainly four different parts out of which 3 are themed park and one is a water park with a gateway park too called the Riverland.

LEGOLAND – This LEGO theme park is for families with children aged between 2-12. You can enjoy various rides safe for children and spend your quality time with them.

LEGOLAND WATERPARK – If your kid is crazy about water, I bet he would love this waterpark. Lego Water park is the only park specially designed for children with an age group of 2-12 years.

MOTIONGATE – This park is designed for movie lovers all over the world. The rides here take you to all cinematic experiences and you may also find some of your favorite animated movie characters. I personally loved the Hotel Transylvania ride.

BOLLYWOOD PARK – It is the world’s first-ever theme park dedicated to Bollywood. Mumbai chowk gives you a glimpse of Mumbai, Bollywood Film Studio has a hall of heroes. Also, you may find the theme of best blockbusters and famous movies of all time like Sholay, Mughal – e- Azam, Lagaan, Don, Dabanng, etc.

RIVERLAND

If you are bored or not interested in the theme park stuff, or you are a solo or couple traveling I would recommend you visit Riverland.

The Riverland has 4 zones,

 The Peninsula – It is surrounded by the river and is called as the heart of the Riverland. There are many live concerts and festive celebrations conducted at the open outdoors.

The theme is based on the 19th Century where you may find various bridges that connected many places to Riverland in the early stage.

 India Gate – Enjoy and experience the royal treatment with music and sculptures created here.

Broadwalk – It’s a walkthrough from 1950’s styles urban theme in America, with live entertainment trees, structures, and neon signage.

The French Village – Spend some time with the historic village views of a French town from the early 1600s. Dine out in Mediterranean themed restaurants with the view of beautiful Towers and water wheels.

Camel Rides and Racing

Deserts and camels are an unbreakable bond and sort of tradition between them. Dubai was mostly surrounded by desert camels are here for long. Nowadays the transport system of Dubai is modern so may enjoy the find them mostly in camel rides for visitors or in camel racing.

You may be surprised to know that Dubai has also started camel rides with robotics technology. There are some rides that use robotic jockeys to race. Didn’t believe it? Then visit the Camel Racecourse in Dubai you will believe it.

You may enjoy the camel rides and also if you like you can taste the milk chocolates made by the camel milk.

Dubai Desert Safari

Desert Safari! Does it sound exciting? Yes, it more than it sounds. Desert Safari is an Adventurous sport with a thrilling experience to the visitors who opt for the safari.

It is actually a car ride that goes up to the mountains and rides back to the ground by providing you thrilling experiences.

Desert safari in Dubai is very famous and also provides you other experiences. There are 2 types of safari One in the morning and other in the evening.

You can also enjoy the Overnight Desert safari or only dinner where you can enjoy the traditional Belly dance and other activities with a lavish dinner.
