The Notre-Dame Cathedral is one of the best Gothic cathedrals of its kind in the world. This Cathedral is more than 850 years old and standing still as beautiful as it was when built. It is located at the picturesque banks of the River Seine.
This masterpiece can is accessible free of cost. The Stain glasses used in the windows are the originals. There are two towers on the west facade and a spire at the top which is from the 19th Century.
Musée du Louvre
If you are a History, art and a museum lover, you should visit the Louvre Museum. It is the world’s largest art Museum. It is also one of the historic monuments in Paris. Louvre Museum which is also called as Musée du Louvre in French. Sacred Heart Basilica of Montmartre (Sacre-Coeur)
Sacre – Coeur which means “ Sacred Heart” is a pretty famous Basilica of Montmartre. It is situated in the high hills of Paris and is visible even from far away. You may find that it looks more likely to a White castle than a Basilica.
The ceilings of the Basilica are been designed with mosaics and which is said to be the largest mosaic art in France which is of Jesus with the Virgin Mary and Joan of Arc. You can enjoy amazing panoramic views of Paris through its outdoor staircase. Pere-Lachaise Cemetery (Cimetiere du Pere-Lachaise)
Have you ever heard any cemetery which is a tourist attraction? I am sure you have not. Can you imagine this could be possible in the city of love? Paris is the only city which has a cemetery which is a pretty famous tourist attraction in the city. The Père-Lachaise Cemetery is around 110acres and is also one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world.
Père Lachaise Cemetery is the most visited necropolis in the world which has around 3.5 million visitors every year. The cemetery had about 33 thousand graves in early 1830 and as it started becoming a famous cemetery it was expanded five times areawise and it currently has more than 1 million graves buried on it.

Palais Garnier – Opera National de Paris
Palais Garnier is a famous Opera house in Paris which was built in the 18th Century and has a seating capacity of 1979 people. This Beautiful Opera house was named after its architect Charles Garnier which was earlier known as “Salle des Capucines” This Opera house is mainly used for Ballet shows nowadays.
By booking a ballet or opera ticket you can visit this beautiful masterpiece. Just make sure you book the tickets 2-3 months prior to your visit as it gets book pretty soon. The exterior and the interior will give you a feel of many Hollywood movies having opera scenes in it. The view from the balcony seat is amazing and a feel of royal service, and of course the prices are much higher as compared to normal seatings.
