Republic Square
There is a small park where locals & visitors can hang out for a while. You will see a huge National flag of Maldives welcoming the tourists.
Friday Mosque
The Grand Friday Mosque is one of the famous Islamic Centre of the architectural landmark in Malé. It was originally built in 1658 with the coral stones with stone carvings designs on it.
National Museum
For all the museum lovers you can see the visit the Nation Museum in Male which has a large variety of collections to see. Don’t forget to see the moon rocks in the museum.
Tsunami Monument
The Tsunami monument was built after the Tsunami & earthquake occurred in the India Ocean. This Tsunami in 2004 had caused many lives and island were destroyed that day. You Maldives trip won’t be complete if you without visiting this historical monument.

Maafushi
Maafushi is one of the famous Islands in Maldives which is well known for its clean and peaceful beaches. It takes around 90 minutes to reach here from Male city in a ferry boat.
The first guest house was built here was around in the year 2010. Afterwards, the numbers have increased to around 50 today. Maafushi is also famous for snorkeling & sunbathing on the beach.

Meeru Island
Meeru Island is one of the most popular islands in the Maldives. Meeru Island is also known as Meerufenfushi Island. It is surrounded by beautiful white beaches with luxurious cottages and a resort. Meeru Island Resort & Spa is the only resort on the island.

Vaadhoo Island
Also known as the “Sea of Stars”, which glows in blue florescent when you walk on it or as the tides come to you. Researchers say this marine bioluminescence is generated by phytoplankton known as dinoflagellates.
