The gold on the roofs has maybe faded, but the fascinating sounds of street musicians, the scents that reach from the surrounding stalls offering cookies, spicy sausages, and boiled wine, it is clear – I am in Prague!

Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic, located on the right riverside of the Vltava River, exactly halfway from Vienna to Berlin. Many religious buildings, castles, palaces, museums, parks, and interesting streets, are making Prague one of the most important architectural treasures in the world.

Buildings date from the period of Gothic, Romanesque, Renaissance and secessionist, so the first feeling will be that you are lost in reality, but you are not.

The Old Town of Prague is one of the best-preserved old city centers in Europe. In it you will find many narrow medieval streets, which open in beautiful charming squares. For seeing the main attractions of Prague, the Tram 22 is ideal in a cheap and comfortable way. With its frequent schedule, this route is one of the most suitable of all.

Astronomical Clock is located at the Prague Old Town Square it is the world oldest astronomical clock still operating. On movable circle inside the clock, there are marked the signs of the zodiac which shows the ecliptic location of the Sun.

Prague castle (Pražskýhrad)

In the Prague quarter of Hradcany, there is this castle whose original walls date from the time of the city’s creation, around 9th-century. The Prague Castle was a residence for all rulers in that area and during its long history changed many rulers, as well as many architectural styles. Within it there are other city sights, such as St. Vida Cathedral, which represents the inexpressible arts of masters of architecture, decorations, and stained glass.

Charles Bridge (Karlův Most)

Charles Bridge is an imposing Gothic building linking the old part of Prague and the so-called Little Side. One of the most famous old bridges in Europe was built in 1357. and is named after Karl IV, the ruler in whose time Prague was dominant. It contains 32 statues of personalities important to the city, among which is the statue of Jana from Nepomuk, for who people from Prague say fills pure wishes, so it is good time to wish to visit Prague again!

Old Town Square and Astronomical Clock (Pražskýorloj)

It is convenient to start sightseeing in the old Town Square. Together with the Astronomical Clock and Saint Vida Cathedral, you will surely notice a bunch of tourists who take photos, walk along Charles Bridge, explore unique souvenirs and enjoy the view of Vltava. If you are present during the full hour, you can see the famous scene of the apostles on the Astronomical Clock.

The Lobkowicz Palace

The Lobkowicz Palace is located in the Prague Castle complex in Prague. with extraordinary works of art from Lobkowicz Collections and Museum. The Lobkowicz Collection includes paintings, decorative arts, music, military, and hunting equipment. It is the UNESCO World Heritage Site with near 1500 paintings mostly from Lobkowichfamily.

Wenceslas Square (Václavskénáměstí)

Wenceslas Square (Václavskénáměstí) is a lively place where you can find accommodation in nice hotels and apartments, good food as well as nighttime activities. Among the most prominent attractions are the National Museum and Prague State Opera

Jewish Quarter

Jewish quarter Josefov once was a Jewish ghetto of the town and today it is completely surrounded by the Old Town. Between 1893 and 1913 a large part of it was demolished. Just an old cemetery, six synagogues, and the Old Jewish Town Hall have left.

Prague Patrion tower

Prague Patrion tower- Smaller Eiffel tower. It is 63.5 meters high and there are two observation platforms that offer incredible views of the whole city. It can be reached by stairs, which requires a certain physical readiness or by taking a funicular.

The Powder Tower

A Gothic tower in Prague which separates the Old Town from the New Town is The Powder Tower. It is used to be a city gate ones.

The Infant Jesus

The Infant Jesus of Prague from 16th-century is Roman Catholic wooden statue representing a child Jesus holding a globus cruciger,  located in the Discalced Carmelite Church of Our Lady Victorious in Lesser Town.
